Equipment and Vehicle Choice
At AVEC we considered our clients' selection of equipment an important aspect of the
ENG/SNG project. For those items which out clients desired to purchase directly or already owned, we needed only to coordinate the delivery in order to incorporate those pieces into the finished unit.
Certainly they could purchase the basic vehicle and its options from a local dealer - but we recommended that we
mutually discuss those options, so that their inclusion might reduce overall costs. Some of these options included:
1. Oversized alternator
2. Air-conditioning
3. Suspension
4. Length options
5. Window and door options
6. Engine size
Not all manufacturers offered the same options, nor did they all provide equal
basic requirements for a particular use. We offered to discuss the differences, and help the client choose the brand and its options that best served the ultimate use of the vehicle.
